24-hour Humanitarian Truce Dust In Our Eyes

What gives us the exposure? To what situation glamour is attached? Sometimes I am appalled at the competence of the authorities and the world's rage at loose. Being a voice in whatever form, even a blogger or a twitterati, we behave according to our human emotions and also become a mode of advertising certain agenda. The business, politics and media thrives on this.

I do not say mass missions are futile. If the authority has been negligent, it certainly comes to basic rights and thus, no one lives their duties better than a lay person. We do not need philosophy to suggest a better way than getting your houses shelled, your food and water being poisoned, being made to work unethically, accepting an obnoxious way of life as regular.

Rulers have shown their incompetence time and again by being down to this level. A crown on the head is certainly not easy thing but does the public have to make them learn lessons and especially when the history is repeating itself before the world. Goverance has its own strategies and is a specialized service for its people. Even beyond anarchy, the UN (if plays major role) cannot help forming a better world for a country.

The country has to raise by itself or through a strong leadership. India got its freedom under popular leadership of Mahatma Gandhi and leaders such as Lokmanya Tilak, Jawahar Lal Nehru with strong ideologies which suitably took reins in their hands once the power was restored.

In Gaza, whatever is happening tells us we can only sympathize, condemn Israel for being so ruthless. Even a wrong person is given full rights to go on trial and present one's case. The reports of agitated Israeli MPs asking for total whip out of Palestinians is horrifying, a brutality in eyes of human mankind. Since in long term, every thing is forgotten, we are in acceptable zone whatsoever, a 24-hour truce is just a dust in our eyes.

Again the Sky

First published on Literary journal.

Today showered again the sky I wondered if soaking the streets I choose to ignore.
Small leaves sprout and crawl inside me, branches spread out, straws are collected nests are created.
Lone pathway on feet speck of air or earth so full, and my own heart's silence in this moment's time.

Has Always Been

First Published on Poem Hunter

Once wide open
does seems the world is
riding on breeze
for a moment of thought

my pen is pouring
celebration of life, an afterthought
in own musing of ideas
where a tear is no longer a fear
nothing devises as found in

eternal or has always been.

Open-Ended Questions and Advaita Vedanta

What we decipher through eyes could almost be a truth but is there need to confirm to everything. Prior to internet the world we lived in, we exchanged information in professional spheres. Social life was largely restricted in community sense. The cyberspace is today filled with ambiguous energy yet we are associating in new manner of extended social life on basis of interests, hobbies, etc.  Knowledge as we know of now has changed in its meaning and deliverance. As we are exposed, many open-ended questions arise. Knowledge is a continuing factor and when it persists we understand that we should and can avoid further difficulties. Thus these open-ended questions about world chaos, social indiscipline, issues like pollution, gender equality/parity become a consolatory afterthought. What should we be doing next? There are no active and legalized platforms where we can share and elucidate on various thought-provoking scenarios. Importantly when we find a case related to these scenarios …
